Reactions and Reviews
1990
This little story needed a more passionate climax, though I did enjoy the aspect of the wishing well being real. Being a Spock person, I couldn't help but be concerned that Kirk didn't object to the Vulcan's thoroughly selfless wish. It made Kirk himself seem incredibly selfish when he said Spock's wish -- to have Kirk's wish come true — was "Host logical". [1]
1991
Very tenderly painted portrait of that special time of dawning awareness and devotion as yet uncomplicated by lust. It was a beautiful view of a very special evening, of intense emotions. Witness: "Just being near Spock made him ache...he wanted to bury himself in his friend, so deep they could never be separated." How much better could you say it? Hidden inside the early paragraphs is also a vivid description of the covers of the zine. Coincidence? [2]
