Now this is a really original idea; I don't know that I've ever read anything in a/u K/S quite like this, where Spock is recuperating on a ranch, he and Kirk are thrown together by Sarek and McCoy, they don't like each other, they resist, but of course inevitably succumb to their mutual attraction. I like how the author takes her time to start the story, but do think the pace should have been quickened later on. I really enjoyed reading Wind Rider and think it's one of Scott Hunter's best stories.[1]
