Will You Accept This Rose? (frequently referred by the title of its first part, By Any Other Name, or variations on Dabihawks Batchelorette AU) is a popular Dabi/Hawks AU Boku no Hero Academia fanfic series by SatelliteBlue.
Described by the author as "A terrible ooc Batchelorette AU"[2], it has received high praise in many corners of BNHA fandom and become something of a fan-favorite. Although the main ship is DabiHawks, the side pairings of Natsuo/OC, Tododeku, and Todoroki Fuyumi/Usagiyama Rumi receive a lot of attention and development, to the point that the fic is often recc'd to fans of those pairings as well. It's also considered a seminal Todoroki Siblings work.
Summary
Through some freak accident of the universe, Dabi has been invited to compete on The Bachelorette. Have they actually seen his face? Surprisingly yes, and they still want him. For this season they apparently need a ‘bad boy’ to both balance out the hero contestant (why in hell is Hawks involved?) and to trash talk the show in interviews to appeal to audiences who don’t like the scripting. SatelliteBlue has said that their initial idea for the fic was actually a scene set in "The Batchelor in Paradise", the followup show to The Batchelorette, and thus will be published in the second fic.[3]

3. Fav fic you’ve read this yearoh boy, okay. Warning for an incoming word vomit but I just have a lot of feelings for this fic
Without a doubt, the bachelorette fic (aka “By any other name” by SatelliteBlue). Look, the summary and tags make it sound like a complete crackfic, and I’ll agree that the premises sound like the perfect basis for a silly, mindless comedy, but god. It’s so much more than that. It’s seriously one of the best Hawks character studies I’ve read in a while, and it’s very well thought-out and thought-provoking. The romance starts out subtly, then tenderly, then it nukes you because the author explores the deepest, ugliest insecurities in both Dabi and Hawks without ever turning that into whump. The range of emotions I felt as I read through this fic is honestly amazing. I clicked the link expecting to laugh, and I did, but this fic also made me bawl like a baby, gave me food for thought, inspired my own writing and overall made me feel a whole rollercoaster of emotions. I did not expect to get sucked in so badly but I am so happy I opened it. Dabi and Hawks aren’t the only stars that shine through, by the way. This fic had some excellent todofam content, and the Fuyumi and Natsuo pov in it were genuinely the best ones I’ve ever read.
