Where in the World is Jonathan Harker (blogname "wheresjonno"') was a tumblr blog made by animate-mush during 2023 Dracula Daily.

History

In the novel Dracula, Jonathan Harker escapes Castle Dracula on 30th June, and the novel shifts to other viewpoint characters. Since Daily Dracula presented the contents of the novel to subscribers on the date it was published in-universe, that meant that Jonathan's fate after escape was unrevealed for quite a long time in real time. Animate-mush created the blog as a place to speculate on Jonathan's fate in the intervening time. It ran daily polls, and also hosted discussion, headcanons, and meta.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego Jonathan Harker? aka the Where's Jonno project

I've decided to embark on my most ill-advised undertaking yet. I will be running daily polls on the evolving question of Where tf is My Good Friend Jonathan from now until either Bram Stoker answers the question or the book ends. (The book ends in November. If the Boy didn't make it, this could take awhile).

The polls will drop at 9 AM EDT, so, just after the emails. They won't be the same option every day, but the order of the options should remain consistent. There's a specific question I am interested in exploring which is different from the poll question, so I would be thrilled if people kept voting each day, but the question of "how long are people willing to commit to the bit" is another interesting one. I am hopped up on Dr Pepper and sleep deprivation so my own commitment to the bit is currently profound
