On 18 January 2023 the Tumblr Staff blog announced the launch of a new feature, Tumblr Polls. A number of Poll specific blogs have been created.
crankyteapot is cited, by the Tumblr Staff blog, as having created the inaugural poll meme, the Bug Race. 169,370 votes were cast, with 🐛 winning.

"We have pitted the most popular pairings of the 2023 Tumblr Year in Review against each other to see who will emerge victorious. Final polls drop on Sunday, May 12th at 6PM PDT"
The final came down to Castiel/Dean Winchester (Supernatural) vs Suletta Mercury/Mirorine Rembran (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury), 81,913 votes were cast. Suletta/Miorine received 53,394 votes, at 65.2% of the vote, winning. Castiel/Dean received 28,519 votes, at 34.8% of the vote, coming second. For third place, Bubblegum/Marceline received 8500 votes, at 73.8%
Statistics for the voting of the bracket were released. With vote data over time also provided.
Rpftourney
On September 20, 2024, the tumblr blog rpftourney began taking submissions for a bracket battle between popular rpf ships. On December 2nd, Phan was crowned the winner, with a 53.6% of the vote against runner-up Jesus/Judas (Jedus) with 46.4% of the vote. Notably, both Dan and Phil reblogged the poll (with Dan commenting ""in a sense Jedus died do Father Philip and Sister Daniel could worship in their name so this is very poetic thank you everyone") and have discussed their victory since. One anon commenter submitted to the rpftourney op that Dan and Phil's contributions contributed to the ship winning.
A third place poll was also held, with J2 (62.2% of the vote) beating out McLennon (37.8% of the vote).
