I have to admit that I'm not completely caught up with reading Wildcat's S/U stories, so I may have to take back these comments later. So far, this one has been the best of the bunch -- maybe because the original tentativeness of the relationship is gone, or maybe because there's the added tension of sustaining a long distance romance. I really don't know, but Spock's willingness finally to make public his affection for Uhura is beautifully written and deeply touching. If I can't have Spock with Kirk, give me Wildcat's version of S/U! [1]
