Was the Trip Worth It? is a 132-page het novel by Rita Dyan Ractliffe/R. Dyan. It was written as a script and submitted to the series for consideration in 1969. Later, it was published as a zine with a run of 100 copies.
From On the Double: "A minor wound leads McGarrett to a chance encounter with a malahini nurse who seems as strong-willed and feisty as himself.
