"McCoy remembers, as he waits one last time, for Kirk and Spock."
Reactions and Reviews
A real surprise lies hidden in these three short pages. McCoy’s reminiscing while waiting for his two best friends to arrive from an unknown place is very well done. He remembers the first day the command team became lovers and how everyone on the bridge could tell because of the light in their eyes. You can just see it! But, as I said, a very unexpected ending.[1]
Sad. Bittersweet. Uplifting. All this in two and a half pages. A beautifully poignant look into McCoy's thoughts as he waits for his two dearest friends. His memories are lovely and touching and the end will swell your heart to breaking. [2]
