Summary

When Lena meets Kara, a soldier home on leave as she waits for her next deployment, at a local coffee shop one afternoon, her life is completely tipped upside down in an instant. As they start talking, Lena feels drawn to Kara; there's something about her warmth and openness that fills the gap left by Lena's troubled childhood.
Growing closer over the next few months, falling fast for each other, the two of them find themselves unable to stay away, but Kara's next deployment is inevitable, and with promises that she'll come home, Lena waits for her.

The most devastatingly beautiful fanfic I’ve ever read for SuperCorp. The “Twist and Shout” of the SuperCorp fandom. A rollercoaster of joy and anguish. Complete with an adorable and fluffy happy ending to cushion the previous pain. 1000% vouch for this story. I refuse to live in a world where it is not the most renowned fic for these beautiful lesbians! They just want love but The CW insists on the infliction of compulsory heternormity.[5]

I just recently read one of the best AU fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading, and it impacted me so much I just had to create a book cover for it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing love story, with passion, angst and…I won’t spoil the ending but it will have you crying and laughing and wanting more.[6]
