This is just freaking hilarious. I swear. So there‘s that girl over at the DeviantArt forum which I (virtually) met at the Spirk group there. Her nickname is CatNipSoup and she made this song called "Vulcan Face". And oh it‘s so funny and sweet and the same time. First she had only the lyrics, which go to the melody of "Poker Face" from Lady Gaga and them alone were great. But then she got a friend of hers, JupiterRoses, to sing it and they recorded it and made it available for us via download. Additional to that she created a CD cover and a back cover (with lyrics) so you can actually burn/print out all the stuff so that you have your own single of it. It‘s all included in the download. I still find it absolutely fantastic she did all this... So, the song is actually about Spock who states that "You cannot read my Vulcan Face" and also about his duty to his captain, a strange smile of McCoy and a certain nurse who won‘t understand that Spock‘s heart can‘t be hers.

It is sung very, very well. Whatever you might think of the Lady Gaga version – you‘re gonna love this one (better)! I added it to my mp3 play list immediately and am not getting tired of listening to it. Here are two of my favourite lines from the song: "But Jim seems quite content on chatting ‘til it is past noon. Chapel is following I must quicken my pace."Thank you, CNS, for having done this!
