Visions of the Galactica is a gen Battlestar Galactica fiction anthology. This ran to eight issues between 1989 and 1999.[1]
Origin
From the editor:
First of all, I was a fan of Battlestar Galactica from its first airing. Then when it was first cancelled by ABC I began writing the story which was originally published in the first issue of the VISIONS OF THE GALACTICA. Though I did begin writing it after the series was cancelled it was much later when I finally finished it. In the meantime I placed an ad in the Comic Buyer's Guide looking for some Harris publications when a guy from New Mexico responded to the ad. Though he didn't have the items I was looking for he did share the same interests I have. During our correspondence through the mail and via the telephone I found out he enjoyed drawing sketches. He actually suggested doing the fanzine with him supplying the art. I finished my story and added some info and using his art I published the first issue of the zine in December 1989.
