A variety streamer is a streamer, usually on Twitch or YouTube, who streams a variety of video games rather than focusing on a particular one.
The term is neutral in nature, yet is sometimes weaponized in wank regarding who qualifies as MCYT, especially from fans who want to distance themselves. For example, it is common to see Ranboo fans try to distance themselves from MCYT fandom by saying that Ranboo isn't MCYT, but a variety streamer.
