Ushijima Wakatoshi is a secondary antagonist of the manga and anime Haikyuu.
Canon
Ushijima Wakatoshi is one of protagonist Hinata Shouyou's rivals. At the start of the story he is considered to be one of the best volleyball players in the country at the high school level, playing on the national Under-19 team. His nickname "Ushiwaka" is a reference to his strength and power. He is initially dismissive of Hinata and Oikawa Tooru's teams as weak.
