Hey! I like the page so far! Although maybe calling it just "Mate for Life". You were right that it appears in paranormal romance. I know for a fact that it appears in the Dark-Hunter Series although mainly under the Were-Hunter sub-series title, the main plot besides against the main villain is for the Were-Hunter, which could be any wereanimal, is that they find their mate for life which also uses soulbond trope. It happens after they sleep with another person, and I believe within 24 hours of it, there would be a burn that would form on their palms matching.
