Waterfall has been a member of several fandoms since 2001, starting out on FanFiction.Net and writing for the X-Men and X-Men: Evolution fandoms. She later moved on to other fandoms, and is now mostly writing crossovers, the majority of which involves Doctor Who in some way or other. Watefall has been, and will probably always be, extremely multifannish.

In real life Waterfall is currently doing her PhD in popular literature genres and fanfiction, thereby proving to be a bit of an aca-fan/fan-scholar.
