Who me?
I discovered Kizuna AI early in her career and had been moderately into vtubers ever since. When Gen 1 of hololive debuted I was falling deeper and by the time hololive English -Myth- debuted I was hooked by my “oshi,” Ame. I’ve stuck with my Gawr Gura–inspired name because I like it too much, but I’m a Teamate through and through.
In 2020 I created holobooru on The Booru Project, a Booru for hololive production content. It was any easy option to start a public archive for the explosion of fan creations thanks to the “golden age” of vtubers. Ultimately it has never seen much activity from other users.
I’m currently focusing on using holobooru to archive Drawfriends’ art from /jp/ and /vt/, untagged/low-engagement artwork from Twitter, full gallery dumps regardless of quality, and more obscure hololive paraphernalia such as those relating to the TTRPG campaign Mythbreakers that wouldn’t be allowed on Danbooru or Gelbooru. I consider my personal tastes as secondary to simply preserving things that I perceive as not well-preserved.
