Reactions and Reviews
Very nicely developed death scene for McCoy with Spock providing the comfort, the two having long since come to terms with one another. Spock makes the passing relatively comfortable for the doctor, who retains his spark and feistiness to the end - which comes from a previously unknown virus. Moving and fun -- and the emphasis on an afterlife does not spoil it for those of us who find that illogical. Nice touch is the revelation that there really is a "second star to the right and straight on till morning" - at least on Vulcan. [1]
