Under a Rhiann Moon is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Jane Sehrn-Ta.
Summary: Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi runs into more trouble than he bargained for when he encounters an errant Agricorps Master by the name of Qui-Gon Jinn.
Author's notes:
This fic started as a plot bunny on the Master- Apprentice list when aunris_renka wondered what would happen if Qui-Gon Jinn had ended up in the Agricorps and ran into Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi one day. It bred further as I wondered what would happen if Qui-Gon was not only in the Agricorps, but was a tree- hugger. I also wondered what would happen if I tried to write something shorter than 20,000 words but longer than 100 words. This is what happened!

Qui-Gon sets himself a task to defend rare trees, and trees never had a better defender. I love descriptions, of the forest, of Qui-Gon, of Obi-Wan's rapidly awakening feelings. The descriptions convey the beauty and vitality of the trees so well that Qui-Gon's self-given mission begins to seem more important than any other mission the Jedi Council might give him.[1]
