Tyrian Tarot is a charity fanart tarot project for the Guild Wars 2 video game, made by the GW2 Artist Collective (part of the Alchemy Art Group).
About
This project was officially sponsored by ArenaNet, the developers of the Guild Wars series. The Indiegogo campaign ran from April 15 to May 22, 2018, and closed with 2693 backers pledging $160,930 total, with a BackerKit that included add-ons running afterwards. A $42,000 donation was made to the International Fund for Animal Welfare with the net proceeds of the project. This was the "biggest crowdfunded tarot project at that time"[1]
The deck included both the major and minor arcana and came with a hardcover tarot guidebook that explained each card's traditional meaning in tarot, along with the artist's interpretation in the context of the Guild Wars 2 character(s)/concept they chose to illustrate. Thanks to stretch goals, the deck also featured 25 'wild' cards outside of the tarot structure.
Other fan merch in the campaign included a tarot cloth, prints, postcards, stickers, sticker sheets, and pins.
