Twilight Real People Fiction is about the actors in the Twilight films: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, and so on. Much of it seems to consist of Mary Sue stories, in which the author is the romantic heroine.
The Twilight_RPF community on LiveJournal, has over 500 posts. The Archive of Our Own has only 7 entries for Twilight RPF, as of July 25, 2010.
On June 29, 2010, the e-book site WattPad put out a press release about their teen writing contest, Taylor Lautner Beats Robert Pattinson in Teen Writing Contest 4 to 1, which brought Twilight RPF some more attention. It describes the stories:
