"Tuck Box" is a short story by fawatson based on Mary Renault's 1953 novel The Charioteer. It is set between the first two chapters, when Laurie has been at boarding school for about a year.
Synopsis
It has been a horrible wet Saturday late in the fall term, and the boys have had nothing to do all afternoon—until the post brings Laurie a parcel.
Background
The story was written at the same time as the 2011 Summer Challenge, but was not written in response to either of the prompts.
