Trueform

In visual media angelic, demonic, or other supernatural characters will often appear as humans, having a human body or vessel, Trueform is a term used to describe what their original forms behind their human facades looks like. Fanworks will often explore what a character's trueform looks like.

A sub-genre of these fanworks is trueform sex, where two supernatural beings will have some sort of sexual relations in their metaphysical forms, or a human character and a supernatural character in trueform will find a way to have sex together.

This trope is popular in fandoms with angelic and demonic characters, like Supernatural and Good Omens.
