Transcripts at the Table is a fan-led paid project that provides episode transcripts for the TTRPG actual-play podcast Friends at the Table. It began in 2018[1] and is affiliated with the creators of Friends at the Table, who pay transcribers for their work. Transcripts are hosted in Google Docs.

All episodes of Friends at the Table are transcribed by the transcription team, but due to the project's affiliation with the canon's creators, transcripts of episodes that are only available to Friends at the Table's Patreon supporters were not made publicly available. As of January 2025, Patreon-only episode transcripts are now publicly released.[2]

Relationship to Other Fan Projects

Search at the Table and the Library of Memorious, two fan-run websites that facilitate searching the canon's extensive archives, operate by searching the transcripts provided by Transcripts at the Table. The Library of Memorious also hosts downloadable mirrors of the episode transcripts in alternative formats, including PDF, EPUB, and plain text.[3] FatTWiki, a fan wiki hosted and maintained by imperialhare, includes links to publicly-available transcripts in episode infoboxes.
