Summary
Blair Sandburg, in the World Trade Center to meet with the publisher of his dissertation, is injured, unable to escape, and is rescued and whisked to Middle-earth by Gandalf. When Jim is brought to reassure him, he becomes involved in an attempt to help the hobbits, Legolas, and Gimli to defend the Tower Hills against a band who claim some allegiance to the fallen Saruman.
