Author's Forward
From the zine:
I have the strangest advice for anyone buying this zine - please don't read it all in one continuous sitting. Instead, treat it like a box of very rich chocolates, to be eaten slowly and savored, a bit at a time. In essence, these stories are a long set of PWP's featuring very mild bdsm and various other kinks, all gently presented, and trying to read them back-to-back is pretty much like glutting yourself on candy. After a while you lose the taste and start feeling like you over did it!The very first story was written with no thought of a sequel in mind, but after a while this series became my playground. It was where I mentally experimented with all the things my research into bdsm was turning up, forming many of my attitudes about the lifestyle and practices. I also discovered that I was telling a story about Jim and Blair, one kink at a time, from their first time as lovers until they made their final commitment to each other. I hope you enjoy taking that journey with them and learn a few things about kink and yourself along the way. Many thanks go to Kim Gaspar, who inspired me to write the very first story by asking about what we were laughingly calling 'bondage lite' at the time. More go to the many people along the way who asked for sequels, gave me suggestions about things j/b could try, and who beta read my first drafts. After eleven stories, that's a great many different people, but I've always appreciated each and every person who helped, but especially Ed, who did a crash beta on the very last story so I could meet my editor's deadline.
A special thanks goes to the lovely lady who provided the art. All I can think of to say is, "YOW!"

Reactions and Reviews
When I first discovered Legion's "Too Hot To Handle" series, I was shocked and titillated by its explicitness. Legion writes the best detailed - and loving - sex scenes in this fandom while still succeeding in keeping Jim and Blair each other's equal. The author writes them "playing" as a way of dealing with the stress of their daily lives, and has them switch places with an ease and comfort that speaks of an unparalleled mutual trust and commitment. Jim being a Sentinel and his desire to protect his lover bleed into even their sexual interaction and read very true to the character. "Changeling", as well as Legion's other stories, are just as much a pleasure to read, although they tend to have a higher amount of plot and more interaction with the world outside their bedroom.[1]
Why you should buy this 'zine: It's hot. It's a series of well written BD/SM stories by someone who has done her research into the lifestyle. It's hot sex and great romance, and fun besides with a couple missions tossed in. Why you shouldn't buy this 'zine: If you are not into bondage, it'll be so much not your cup of tea. I personally am not nuts about the use of some phrases in lovemaking, even in BD/SM between lovers who are playing roles, (name calling, ie: slut, my whore. Not my thing), but it certainly didn't stop my enjoying the stories. [2]
