TobiDei Project is an ongoing challenge in the Portuguese-speaking fandom that aims to produce 4000 Tobidei themed stories. The challenge started in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. Every two months, a prompts would be thrown along with sub-prompts, and an event that takes place during said bimester.
The first three quarters took place between July and December 2020, however the project was stagnant throughout 2021 and started again in January 2022 with the opening of a call for new members.
The project has four application forms for recruiting capistas (cover creators/artists), helpers (volunteers), beta-readings and ficwriters where members apply by submitting basic contact information to be later informed about the prompts and rules of the challenge:
Much of the cover art was created through collages with images from the anime, and the works are mostly being published on Spirit Fanfic where the greatest focus of writers and fanartists is concentrated. The project has account on Wattpad without much activity, due to the administrator's difficulties in using the platform.
There have been plans to introduce the project to the Spanish and English-speaking fandoms, but lack of information about the matter makes the project practically unknown outside of the Brazilian fandom.
The TobiDei project has its own tag on Spirit Fanfiction named Td!project.[1] A thread was created on Twitter to explain the project.

Even though fanfiction is still being produced, the blog isn't being updated with new prompts, as participants seem to be organizing in a private Discord server and private chats.
