Reactions and Reviews

This A/U story had a good plot, sprinkled with elements of distrust, betrayal, love and good-old fashioned jealousy thrown in for good measure. Ms. Coventry writes some of the most erotic sex scenes I've ever read. The story held my interest all the way through and was fun to read.

The plot holds together. I like the scene of Spock having sex with his bed slave while Kirk inadvertently looks on, and when Kirk confronts him jealously, Spock simply says that what Kirk saw wasn't love, just sex, but he doesn't wimp out or start apologizing. And of course, the explicit bonding ceremony is, uh, right up my alley!
