Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise have been involved for weeks with some delicate negotiations between two warring planets. Kirk has been too tired and overworked to have had any time for Spock, but once the negotiations are successfully concluded, Kirk and Spock go on shore leave together. Nothing new, but pleasant. [1]
