Reactions and Reviews
Mouse stories, some Classic, some featuring Diana (without romance). Never before has such a small digest zine packed such a giant wallop of talent. A gem, with treasure on each page. “Fixit” by Lucy Green has Mouse repairing Dr. Who's tardis; Beth Druhan's “The Magical Mouse” is a charming Mouse-origin story. Another is Roxanne Koogler's “And Thus It Will Go On....”: magical, sweet, and quite plausible. P.S. Nim's cartoon “Separated at Birth” has to be seen to be believed: one of the better fannish “in” jokes. In “Spare Change,” Kay Simon shows how Mouse and Cullen resolved their relationship after “Fever.” “Babes in the Wood” by Lucy Green deals with baby-sitting; Linda Mooney's “For She Loved Much” deals with C's tentative relationship with the world Below. And Sharon Wells' “A Mouse and His Dog” tops things off satisfactorily. Art by Lynette Combs, Cheryl Duval, Lukas & Kristy Effinger, Barb Gipson, Pam Tuck, Phyllis Berwick, Sue Glasgow. And this is a digest zine! Well worth owning and keeping even at twice the price. [1]
