Spock seeks refuge in Kirk's quarters after his own are 'staked out' by shipmates intent on razzing him. If you can get past the premise that any of the Enterprise crew would have the nerve to tease Spock in this way, you will be amused. The love scene with which the story concludes is tender & very sensitively written. [1]
