Therapyfic may refer to one of several genres of fan fiction:

1. Issuefic in which the author is (or appears to be) working through psychological issues in writing as a form of therapy. When used this way, the term is usually a derogatory one.
2. Fix-it fic written as a form of "therapy" in reaction to canon that the author found upsetting or painful to watch, or even other fanfiction the author found painful to read. Cori Falls was notorious for this type.
3. Stories in which the characters are themselves in therapy, such as the Draco/Ginny fic Therapy Buddies by Jade Okelani.
