I'm sorry, but I didn't believe anything that happened in this story. I didn't believe Kirk would impersonate his brother Sam and seduce Spock, or that Spock would just hop into bed with this "Sam" Kirk after a brief acquaintance. I didn't believe Spock would spend time with and make love with "Sam" and not be able to tell it was Jim Kirk, instead, or at least suspect something was wrong. I didn't believe Kirk would not tell Spock about it for so long, and not even tell him when Sam died, or when Spock left for Gol. I didn't believe that Spock would never tell Kirk. I didn't believe that when Kirk finally mentioned that night to Spock, that Kirk would at first pretend that it was Sam that actually slept with Spock. And I didn't believe Spock would slap Kirk like he did in the story. Nothing worked for me in this story, actually.[1]
