Summary
From the publisher:
Blair's step-sister Whitney Plummer, and her husband and fellow musician Eddie, haven't heard from Naomi in over a year and are worried about her. During a visit to see Blair, Whitney expresses her concerns, and finally, despite Jim's misgivings, Blair passes on a message Naomi sent to Whitney. Naomi reveals the secret of Middle Earth's existence and that she's now happily wed. Blair agrees to take Whitney and Eddie for a visit, and to Jim's consternation, are met in Rohan by Treebeard's near simultaneous arrival with a message of trouble in the Entwash. But perhaps Eddie's coming along is a good thing, because it slowly becomes clear that music may be the key to ending an ancient spell left behind by Saruman, a spell that could lead to disaster in Rohan.
