The Taste of Snow is a Spock/Uhura story by Wildcat.
Reactions and Reviews
My favorite of Wildcat's S/U series; the growing relationship between Spock and Uhura is well-drawn, and the little details of their reaction to a crisis make the story seem so real. And Spock's reaction to the death of Saavik's pet lizard is the perfect detail to show what he's going through. This was lovely, from beginning to end.[1]
I love this story (and it's predecessor, "A Woman's Touch) for the glimpse it gives into Saavik's childhood as much as the chance to see Spock and Uhura connect outside the confines of the Enterprise. [2]
