The Sweetest Sound by Roberta is just that, sweet. It's cute and somewhat original in concept. Kirk beams down to where Spock's on planet survey and asks him a question that sends Spock into a whirl. I think the story ended far too soon! [1]

A fidgeting Kirk, taking the roundabout way to ask Spock to marry him. A hurting Spock because the lovable idiot first tells him he wants to get married without saying who he’s getting married to. Spock’s retaliation is great and he surely gets his own back. Good. [2]
