Greetings and welcome! Within these pages you will find my slash fan fiction. I first discovered slash while I was looking for Star Wars links a few months after seeing THE PHANTOM MENACE. I've been a STAR WARS geek since the tender age of six, and I'd had the hots for Ewan McGregor for a couple of years before TPM came out. Happy coincidence. Pairing him with Liam Neeson, well...nice job, George! You have my undying gratitude!But it didn't occur to me to actually "pair" the two (and I know, I know, how could that not occur?) at all until I found the Master Apprentice site, which at the time had a scant three hundred or so stories. Oh, my. What a revelation that was. I devoured what I found and I haven't looked back since. I've written a few stories, and don't see myself stopping for quite some time. TPM slash has become...Oh, Qui and Obi...Force help us all...well, my primary fixation. Except for...
VELVET GOLDMINE, Todd Haynes' glam treasure. Wonderful, wonderful movie. And a wet dream for all pretty-boy devotees. Ewan and Jonny. In bed. Naked. Uh-huh.
There are entire sites on the web dedicated to dissecting this delectable confection, so I'm not going to do that here. Instead, I offer my own interpretation of the world of VELVET GOLDMINE in my Instamatics series. Go ahead, read 'em. They're short. My focus is on Curt and Brian, the one true pairing. I am a fierce denier of the Curt/Brian breakup. It didn't happen, okay? [...]
Now...if you'll just follow me, thirty-eight levels down, there's a door...oh, don't worry about the tied-up Padawan in the corner, there. I'm sure he'll chew through the restraints soon enough. And just ignore those two rock stars making out in a darkened alleyway. Nothing to worry about at all.
