Aside from the fact that I don't know what the phrase "which side" refers to, I enjoyed the story. I'm assuming it must mean which side earrings are worn. If so, I'm not certain Kirk's last comment captured the idea. Still, it was an interesting idea. [1]
This is little more than a three page story of Kirk's ruminations after he overhears some crew members discussing sexual "equipment" and "which side". Cute and humorous as Kirk is obsessed and curious about his first officer's "equipment". Quite amusing as Spock shows up in tight jeans. [2]
