Patrick Stewart Research Library was located in West Islip (then Melville?), New York.
It was a volunteer, non-profit, fan-run resource, and a "member of the American Library Association." It was also associated with the International Audience Association of Patrick Stewart and The Patrick Stewart Network.
The library was run by a four-person committee: Cindy Thomas, Regina Hewston, Joan Rumerman, and Janet D'Airo.

The Patrick Stewart Research Library is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to public outreach and education regarding theatre arts and the career of actor Patrick Stewart.The archives contain unique photographs, unusual theatrical memorabilia, many newspaper and magazine articles, as well as numerous video and audio tapes of Mr. Stewart's work in stage, screen, television and radio. All are welcome to use the facilities of the PSRL for research purposes. Though we regret that items from the collection are not available for loan, photocopies of articles are available for a nominal fee, and facilities are available on-site to view and listen to audio/video items from the collection. Visits to the Library are by appointment only! Hours are from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please phone or write to arrange a visit. Feel free to contact any member of the committee for information.
