Why we love it:This fic is about as AU as you can get and we'll admit to a bit of trepidation at the summary, but like always cattraine really delivers. She paints the world so well that it feels real and before long you are wrapped up in Danny's struggles. Be prepared though, this one is a tear jerker and we recommend an entire box of Kleenex. Sensitive, emotional, raw, and ultimately beautiful, you won't regret reading this fic but please be sure to heed the warnings.[1]
