Reactions and Reviews
Another whimsical tale. The capricious Squire of Gothos plays a large part in these naughty activities. He slips Spock from the ship, offers him many beguiling choices of lovers, every one like Kirk in minute detail. The amusing part is that there are similarities with many of the roles Shatner has played on television and in films. This was great fun and lightened the seriousness of the previous stories. I liked it a lot. Especially when Spock proves immune to these imitations and is released back to the ship and into the arms of his one and only lover, who welcomes him as only the real Kirk can do. Delightful! [1]
