The Old Republic Reader is a gen Star Wars newsletter that was published quarterly. There are ten issues, each issue contains about 20 pages of "computer-typed", illoed fiction, poetry, cartoons, LoCs, reviews, comics and art.

From a flyer in Antithesis #20 (October 1982):

THE OLD REPUBLIC READER will make its debut as the newest addition to the galaxy of SW fanzines in early December 1982. This projected 20 pp. zine will consist of fannish contributions including filk, artwork and short stories pertaining to the saga. At this time we are searching for fans to lend their talents to TORR by contributing poems, stories, fan letters and art. If you are interested please mail a copy of your work for consideration and a SASE for returned work GUNDARK PRESS AND GRAPHICS, Suzy Sansom, [address redacted]. TORR is published quarterly at $1.75 an issue or a yearly subscription rate of $5.00. Checks payable to Suzy.

THE OLD REPUBLIC READER #1: a publication of Gundark Press, is now available. This 20 page zine consists of Star Wars related fiction and artwork. Contributions for issue #1 included The Big Mac Strikes Back, a parody by Levijoki, E.T. album reviews by Buchtel, In The Wind, a vignette by I Scheherazade, and TONS more. TORR is printed quarterly via offset.
