I was very touched by Robin Hood's THE OFFER as well. It takes place during OPERATION ANNIHILATE and deals with Kirk and Spock trying to adjust to Spock's blindness. Normally, I would be upset by a story in which Spock forcibly holds Kirk against a wall, but given the circumstances of Spock's blindness, and his desperation over losing Kirk, I was willing to accept this turn of events and found it moving. This is Robin Hood's writing at its best. [1]
