Reactions and Reviews

As I read what is essentially a diary entry from the mirror Spock, I found myself wondering why the author had gone to the trouble of hand-writing it, and by the third page was really tempted to turn to the ending and see if my guess was right. Yep! But, a nice mystery to embed in a very short story, and a satisfying conclusion. Except, I don't think Spock was slipping at all. I think he knew exactly what he was doing. This possible conclusion after the conclusion was very cleverly done. [1]
Clever little story of mirror Spock writing in a journal reflecting on his longings for Kirk. The author really captured Spock's smoldering feelings and how he wants so much to reveal his love to Kirk.
I loved the mention that Spock was writing in Vulcanese so that Kirk wouldn't be able to read it and then the clever ending. [2]
A sweet story, a pleasure. Mirror Spock's handwritten journal, his thoughts about Kirk. What a burden on Spock, to know Kirk rails in private against the senseless slaughter, to know there is heart beneath the viciousness; yet to feel he cannot do anything with this knowledge.Nice passages about the small times when Kirk reveals a little of himself to Spock. And Spock is unwittingly revealing himself to Kirk. A wonderful ending.
It doesn't seem totally proper written Vulcan. But such a warm and happy story. [3]
