Darcy Lewis will learn to rue the day she agreed to do a favor for Steve, because it led her down a whole other rabbit hole, and she was perfectly happy not being Alice, thank you very much.

But she did fall for his earnest 'Aw Shucks Ma'am' routine, and she did accidentally adopt a certain ex Russian Spysassin into her heart (And her bed?) So now she has to deal with the ensuing journey to Wonderland, which is fitting, because frankly, She's Mad, He's Mad, They're all a little mad there.

Lighting Never Strikes Twice (Except When it Does)

Life used to be good for Darcy Lewis. I mean - discount the fact that she was on the run from basically everyone she'd ever met with a man who she was pretty sure she was madly in love with, and it was all roses. The key words in that sentence are 'used to be'. Also maybe 'madly in love'. Honestly, she's not so sure just yet.

OR

The one where Hydra kidnaps Darcy and everything is all messed up, and Bucky gathers an angry mob to help him burn down the world in his search for her.

So far Lighting Never Strikes Twice (Except When it Does) has seven chapters and over 31.8 words.
