Reactions and Reviews
There are many ways to tell a love story. This one has Kirk, Spock & McCoy at an old-fashioned amusement park and presents a Spock who is eager to ride all manner of contraptions because he soon learns centrifugal force pushes him tightly against his Captain. Nice, huh? Kirk picks up a bug from all the cotton candy and local food, which leaves the vacationers in their room for a couple of days. There are so many small moments of putting one's significant other before one's self. This author weaves a very compatible relationship that is growing by the moment. For once, McCoy is ahead of himself—rather than the last to know, he sees the love blossoming before even Kirk & Spock acknowledge it. There is a bit of angst when Kirkfinds out what McCoy is thinking and is shocked beyond words. There follows a very meaningful discussion between the two friends and a bit of predictable misunderstanding. But not too much.
All in all it's a very well rounded and well written story—one worth reading slowly so as to miss nothing it has to offer. [1]
