The Making of Samwise is a 250-page slash Lord of the Rings novel by Bill the Pony (aka Lilith Sedai/Cara Chapel).
It has two interior black and white illos by Black Rose and a color cover by Lorraine Brevig.
From the Publisher
I have been very lucky in the authors who chose to work with me. Although I knew not of Bill the Pony, I was quite aware of both Cara Chapel and Lilith Sedai, and was pleased to eventually learn that they were all one in the same person. This is our second collaboration in making a zine out of a remarkable story, and I feel very privileged in having been asked do so once again.
I have also had remarkable luck with artists. Lorraine was a find through Cara, and I've loved
Black Rose's work since TPM days. I am hoping for many more collaborations with these fine ladies in the future too.
