There are a few stories that stay with you long after the zine is put in the closet. This is one of them. The characterization of Kirk is excellent. It displays his faults as well as his strengths. The ending is consistent with the characterization and gives the reader a pleasant surprise. The story is tightly written, holding the reader's attention from beginning to end. This is a classic. [1]
