Issue 2
The Laughing Mutoid 2 was published in January 1989 and contains 44 pages. It contains all Blake's 7, one of which is a slash story.
All of the content is by Cathy Conrad.
From the zine:
This time there's a mixture of the rather tame and the lurid--er, I mean, the more explicit. As to the subject of "slash," it seems that people either love it or hate it. There's one slash story in this issue, and I've marked it in the tale of contents. If you're one who hates slash, don't read it!
- CathyCon 2, editorial
- Bison's Revenge ("A sequel (sort of) to "An Unlikely Tryst" from LM #1. Features a character of decidedly Southern flavor, who exacts her revenge on Avon. Can you hear the shrieking from Southern Alabama?!?") (1)
- The Game Goes On ("Soolin tries to get revenge for Vila's, er, little joke from "But It Was Just A Game" 1n LM #1. Well, she tries to, anyway.") (8)
- Brawn Before Brains" (slash) (14)

- Amagon Nights (31)

Welcome, all, to the third thrilling issue of THE LAUGHING MUTOID! This time the stories are "R" and perhaps a a soft "X," and will probably remain that way in future issues unless a lot of readers request otherwise.

Reactions and Reviews: Issue 7
[Callyrella]: The tough rebels of Saurian Major won't let meek, skinny, psychic little Callrella come with them on raids; instead she is stuck doing the cleaning and the cooking. Then one night her fairy godmother appears. She magically transforms Callyrella's rags into a spiffy red combat suit and sends her off to the biggest raid of the year, where she meets a handsome prince, who takes her away from it all... But of course, a mere combat suit, even a read one, can't change a sensitive idealist into a fierce warrior permanently! [1]
