The Great Meiji Tarot is a tarot deck project featuring fanart of the characters from the Ace Attorney games in a Meiji-era setting. This project is organized by the same team who ran Turnabout Melodies.

About

This is a tarot deck project. The deck will be heavily focusing on the Great Ace Attorney cast (with lawyers, side characters, witnesses, etc. that will be voted on by both the interest check and the artists themselves). The deck will also include mainline and possibly spinoff characters but in a Meiji & Victorian aesthetic.

At the end of the leftover sales for Turnabout Melodies, a poll was posted on October 22, 2020 asking if followers were interested in an Ace Attorney tarot-themed zine or deck. Most votes expressed interested as customers . A full year later, the account resumed activities hinting to a future tarot card project.

The project was announced on October 10, 2021. An interest check form was posted on October 20, 2021, and responses would continue to be received up until November 20th.

Contributor applications opened from November 30, 2021, to January 15, 2022. This deadline was later extended to January 24, 2022. Acceptance emails were sent out on January 27, 2022.

Preorders opened from September 6 to October 6, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• Ace ($20 USD) - Digital Deck
• Page ($40 USD) - Physical Deck, Digital Deck
• Knight ($55 USD) - Physical Deck, Digital Deck, Die-cut Stickers, Notepad
• Queen ($80 USD) - Physical Deck, Digital Deck, Die-cut Stickers, Notepad, Acrylic Charm, Enamel Pin
• King ($100 USD) - Physical Deck, Digital Deck, Die-cut Stickers, Notepad, Acrylic Charm, Enamel Pin, Acrylic Stand, Washi Tape

Individual decks and digital orders were shipped out on November 29, 2022. By January 13, 2023, all orders were reported to have been shipped out. Leftover sales ran from February 10 to February 15, 2023.
