Turnabout Melodies is a music-themed zine project featuring characters from the Ace Attorney games.
About
The project was announced on September 24, 2019 with an interest form attached that would remain open until October 4, 2019 [1]. Applications also opened on the same day as interest forms and also ended on the October 4, 2019.
Preorders opened on August 8, 2020 and ended August 26, 2020. The pricing tiers were as follows:
- Mezzanine Tier ($23 USD) - Physical Zine, Bookmark, Concert Ticket
- Orchestra Seating Tier ($32 USD) - Physical Zine, Bookmark, Random Charm, Random Postcard
- Box Seats Tier ($47 USD) - Physical Zine, Bookmark, All Charms, All Postcards
By popular demand, the project announced a digital PDF option of the zine on August 14, 2020 [2]. The digital zine could be purchased separately or as an add-on to existing orders or physical orders. On the day of preorders opening, a giveaway for a full bundle was announced. On August 20, 2020, the winner of the raffle was announced to be Twitter user pissjilly [3].
Orders began shipping on October 18, 2020. Extra copies continue to be sold on the store until supplies lasted. Physical copies were sold out by November 3, 2020 [4].
